I have been working at AsureQuality since I returned to New Zealand in January 2010. Previous to this I spent some time travelling around Europe and Asia and worked in Edinburgh as a Marketing and Events Manager. I studied in Christchurch and have a Bachelor of Business Management from Griffith University.
My role at AsureQuality is highly varied and includes marketing and sales, customer relationship management and course management for training in the meat and dairy processing sectors. I am also responsible for training programme development, assessment material development and moderation and trainer development and management. The variety in this role certainly keeps me on my toes!
I enjoy working in the tertiary education sector and have a current focus on how embedded literacy in our programmes can add value to our trainees. To progress this aim, I am currently studying adult literacy at CPIT. With these new skills I am working on upgrading our training materials to include embedded literacy and upskilling our trainers in this area.

After living overseas for four year’s I returned to Christchurch in December 2010 and since then I have been a Training Coordinator at AsureQuality. I have a background in Event and Account Management, Marketing, and Communication. Prior to joining AsureQuality I was based in Melbourne as an Event Manager for superannuation and investment conferences and more recently London, working on a sustainable design and construction exhibition.
The key responsibility of my role at AsureQuality is the end to end management of public and in house training courses to customers throughout New Zealand, focused on the food manufacturing industry and rural sectors.
