Consequences of Unhygienic Behaviour
Overview
Our Consequences of Unhygienic Behaviour course is a highly visual programme designed to provide meat industry staff with the hard-hitting realities of bacterial growth which results from poor hygiene practices. This course has been designed to be easy to understand so that attendees have a clear appreciation of how their behaviour at work directly affects product safety.

Pre-op Hygiene Awareness
Overview
AsureQuality’s Pre-Op Hygiene Awareness course is designed to assist meat processing plants to heighten staff awareness of the importance of a comprehensive pre-op hygiene programme on plant. The course covers the legislative requirements of the pre-op check, the rating of defects observed, corrective/preventative actions, follow-up required and documentation to be completed. If requested, there can also be a practical component to the course where participants are taken through an edible area and are required to identify and rate defects.

Our Retain Rail Trimming course is a programme designed to provide employees with knowledge of the retain rail to maximise production efficiencies and reduce possible chain stoppages due to retain rail overload. It focuses on the identification and the efficient, hygienic removal of diseases and defects. This course is offered in both bovine and ovine and includes a practical assessment to determine competency.

Overview
This course is designed to provide meat industry engineering and maintenance personnel with the knowledge required to understand the food safety requirements relevant to their role and the consequences of failing to ensure food safety. The course covers the principles of best practice and the ramifications of poor design and construction.
