Heat treatment plays an important role in the manufacture of safe dairy product. AsureQuality provides three heat treatment courses aligned to the requirements for heat treatment under the Animal Products Act 1999. These courses are ideal for Pasteuriser Operators, Supervisors or other people with specific responsibilities for heat treatment.
Heat Treatment Awareness
Overview
Our Heat Treatment Awareness course is half a day in duration and aims to provide Pasteuriser Operators and other associated staff with a basic understanding of the checks and tests used to demontrate that the pasteuriser is operating correctly and why these checks are required.

Introductory heat treatment
Overview
Our Introductory Heat Treatment course is designed to provide knowledge of the requirements of heat treatment for dairy manufacturing under the Animal Products Act 1999, specifically DPC3. Key topics covered include the purpose of heat treatment, regulartory requirements, HACCP, types of heat treatment and preventing product contamination.
