To assist in answering off some key questions you may have about our training courses please find below answers to the most frequently asked questions:
What is the latest date I can register for a course?
Late registrations can be catered for, so contact us as soon as possible. We do offer an early bird special for some courses.
What qualifications/experience do AsureQuality trainers have?
Our trainers are full time auditors, inspectors and verifiers who have extensive knowledge of and experience in the primary sector industries. We utilise their knowledge of industry specific quality and safety standards, to add value to our customers and their staff through the delivery of training. In addition to this, we have qualified trainers who have achieved a nationally recognised qualification in delivering training to adult learners.
Do I receive any formal recognition for attending AsureQuality training courses, and if so when do I get this?
All our courses result in an AsureQuality certificate of either completion or competency. If the course is unit standard aligned a certificate of competency is awarded within two weeks of final assessment. If the course is not unit standard aligned a certificate of completion is issued within two weeks of the course.
When do I get invoiced for an AsureQuality training course?
We invoice for our courses within two weeks of the course completing. We do this to ensure the accuracy of charging.
How does AsureQuality charge for its training courses?
We primarily charge on a per person basis plus disbursements. Disbursements are the additional costs incurred to deliver a training course where and when a customer require it. It includes travel costs such as accommodation and flights and is charged at cost and proportional to the attendee numbers. We are also flexible with discount pricing for in-house and/or large groups.
What happens if I withdraw from an AsureQuality training course?
Your registration for a course can be withdrawn at anytime. If this withdrawal is received with less than 2 weeks notice a 50% penalty fee is charged.
What happens if an AsureQuality training course is cancelled?
This happens only on rare occasions if we do not have sufficient numbers registered for a course. We use best endeavours to notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel a course and provide details of the next course if you would like to transfer your registration.
What are the standard hours AsureQuality training courses run for?
It depends on whether this is a publicly run course or in-house. Running times for in-house courses can be altered to meet the needs of our customers operations. Our publicly run courses generally run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day.
What resources do I receive on the course?
All our courses generally have a number of resources provided to cater for a wide range of learning styles. These can include:
- Powerpoint presentation which can consist of audio & video references
- Comprehensive course manual/workbook
- Assessment workbook
- Additional resources which can include useful references for further learning and understanding.
What catering provided on the course?
Catering is generally provided on all public courses depending on the length of the course. Catering for in-house training is at the customer’s discretion. Any special dietary requirements are catered for if we are advised during the registration process.
When do I get assessed on an AsureQuality course?
We either assess trainees during the course or in their workplace after the course, depending on the type of unit standard being assessed. Workplace assessments are conducted after the course to ensure that the knowledge is applied practically in the workplace. Our trainers will arrange a time and date for assessments with each trainee during the course. We aim to complete on-site assessments within 3 months of the delivery of the course.
What numeracy and literacy support does AsureQuality provide in its training courses?
Our trainers are able to support and assist trainees who have basic numeracy and literacy difficulties to ensure they successfully complete our courses. For further assistance to develop and improve numeracy and literacy skills, training can be sourced through literacy and numeracy specialists:

Are there any industry training subsidies and/or funding assistance for AsureQuality training?
